How do you adequately honor Jesus without repeating the same things over and over? There’s the nativity scene, the manger, the cross — all are very important. But how do you keep it from feeling old and overdone? For this, I chose to veer from cool colors and move into a soft night sky, focusing on the love and peace Jesus brings to people.
